Giving back to the community has been part of RW’s culture since it opened its doors over 60 years ago. A set budget for both monetary and food donations is dedicated each year to both local and military-related organizations that provide community outreach to those in need. A few of RW favorite organizations include:
Both HFOT and R&DA provide much needed assistance to our military veterans through housing and other programs.
Blue Star Families offers assistance programs such as the “Military Spouse Employment Initiative”, “Peer to Peer Support Networks”, and “Nourish the Service” – each positively impacting the lives of our military and veteran families.
The Bay Area Rescue Mission, Food Bank of Contra Costa & Solano, Moving Forward and Richmond Promise each provide unique support to both youth and adults such as meals, shelter, job training, groceries, backpacks with supplies, and college scholarships.

RW employees have the opportunity to choose their favorite organizations to which the company will donate in their names. Volunteering off-site during work hours is another opportunity given to employees.
